Book pick up happening every Thursday at the Administration Building on LCC's Downtown campus. Email your name and book selection to cclc@lcc.edu and you will be emailed to coordinate your book pick up time.
*Note "There There" is not being distributed this fall as it was previously distributed.
Borrow from LCC Library
Curbside pickup is now available for library materials. If you want to check something out, fill out a book and calculator curbside form to select material and make an appointment. You can search for your book in the Library Catalog by title or author.
Borrow from another library
You can check out a copy from another area library. As an LCC student you can get a free library card from East Lansing Public Library and as a Michigan resident with a valid state ID you can get a free library card from Delta Township District Library.
Buy a copy
Buy any of the books from a variety of booksellers in print, e-book, or as a free audiobook with an Audible trial.

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is excited to announce the expansion of the One Book initiative to "Beyond the Book" The Diversity Campus Reading Circle. This program is focused on embracing diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) by exploring four themes with four different books at the campus-wide level:
The purpose of Beyond the Book is to expand the dialogues, learning and engagement around diversity, equity, and inclusion themed books to foster a greater sense of community all while celebrating difference. This program is designed to provide an enjoyable and positive reading experience both inside and outside of the classroom. The aim of the Diversity Campus Reading Circles is to engage students, faculty, staff, and the larger community in a wide range of social discussion around DEI themes and intellectual activities to create an inclusive campus community.
These books deal with difficult subjects, if you are feeling overwhelmed, depressed, anxious, or need someone to talk to, don't hesitate to contact LCC Counseling Services. Where you can talk with a state-licensed, professional counselor for free as a currently-enrolled LCC student.
