Designed for instructors, the education resource website https://www.nytimes.com/spotlight/nytimesineducation provides the following features:

  • General instructional strategies to promote student achievement
  • Co-curricular activities, including events, discussions, and contests

How do I get access?

  • Use your LCC New York Times account to access New York Times in Education.    
  • If you do not have a New York Times account, create an account using your LCC email address and follow the instructions on the New York Times Digital Library Guide.

How do I reset my password?

Sharing Links

If you want to share links to a New York Times article, use the "Copy Link" function to get a durable link. 
The copy link option is found under the "Share" icon (a small arrow) at the top of each article:

Keep in mind that if students have not registered for their LCC New York Times account, they will only be able to read one article without registering. Encourage your students to activate their LCC access if you plan to use multiple NYT sources in your class.
