About the Leisure Reading Collection

The Leisure Reading Collection has existed in some form since 1974. The purpose of the collection is to feature appealing and diverse books to read for fun and enrichment. Leisure Reading is in the library on the 2nd Floor of the TLC building. The collection includes over 600 works of fiction, non-fiction, biographies, and graphic novels. Books are selected by LCC librarians, faculty, staff and students.

Your To-Read List

Need help finding your next great read? Use the links below to find book lists, descriptions, and reviews. Or Ask a Librarian!

If you want to read a book that the LCC Library does not have, we will likely be able to help you get your hands on a copy through interlibrary loan!

How to View Titles in the Collection

You can brows the collection in person in the library (TLC Building) on the second floor floor, behind the collaborative workstations and on the New Books display in the atrium.

To view the print collection virtually, go to the library catalog and enter leisure reading in the keyword box.

Use the tabs in this guide to browse eBooks we have. The lists on each tab are not comprehensive, we have additional eBook options you can explore, but there are a lot of great suggestions.

Ask a Librarian if you need help!
