The Degree Qualifications Profile (DQP) creates a coherent and intentional pathway for learning. The Library supports the DQP learning category of intellectual skills which focuses on the use of information resources.

To prepare students for work in the 21st century the Association of American Colleges and Universities has established a robust set of cross curricular essential learning outcomes. Library services, academic resources and information literacy instruction directly aligns with the Intellectual and Practical Skills category of the essential learning outcomes.
