The Leisure Reading Collection has existed in some form since 1974. The purpose of the collection is to feature appealing and diverse books to read for fun and enrichment. Leisure Reading is in the library on the 2nd Floor of the TLC building. The collection includes over 600 works of fiction, non-fiction, biographies, and graphic novels. Books are selected by LCC librarians, faculty, staff and students.

If you want to read a book that the LCC Library does not have, we will likely be able to help you get your hands on a copy through interlibrary loan!
You can browse the collection in person in the library (TLC Building) on the second floor. New books are displayed in the atrium near the main stairwell and the remainder of the collection is shelved behind the collaborative work stations.
