It’s the merry, merry month of May and the world is again green with plants. The LCC Library is celebrating spring with a display about plants featuring a wide variety of books in different genres. 

The display includes books about: 

  • Natural history 
  • Gardening 
  • Cooking 
  • Floral and landscape art 

The display will be on the second floor of the Technology and Learning Center throughout the month of May. Any patrons with an active LCC username and photo ID can borrow books at the Library Help Zone. Electronic books can be accessed either through QR codes featured on the physical display or through catalog links in the Virtual Display.

Art and all of its forms are essential parts of the human experience. Every culture and every culture that has ever existed has had its own artistic traditions. The LCC Library is highlighting some of these traditions in a new book display for the month of May. 

The display includes books about art history, culturally significant art traditions, and contemporary art from around the world. 

The display will be on the second floor of the Technology and Learning Center throughout the month of May. Any patrons with an active LCC username and photo ID can borrow books at the Library Help Zone. Electronic books can be accessed either through QR codes featured on the physical display or through catalog links in the Virtual Display.
