Pride 2025: June Library Display

In celebration of Pride month, the LCC Library will display a selection of books and eBooks by LBTQIA+ authors. The selection includes, but is not limited to: Contemporary fiction Graphic novels Creative non-fiction Cultural histories The display also includes information on campus resources and free promotional items. The display will be available on the second floor of the Technology & Learning Center throughout the month of June. Any patrons with an active LCC username and StarCard may borrow books and other library items at the Library Help Zone. Books and eBooks are browsable via the Virtual Display guide on the LCC Library website....

Books… But Make It Fashion! June Library Display

The LCC Library will display a selection of books and eBooks about fashion throughout the month of June. The selection includes, but is not limited to: Fashion history Fabric and color studies Photography collections Non-fiction about the textile industry The display will be available on the second floor of the Technology & Learning Center throughout the month of June. Any patrons with an active LCC username and StarCard may borrow books and other library items at the Library Help Zone. Star Day of Giving is Here! June 4

The LCC Library is a vital resource for student success, not just a place to study, but a hub for equitable access to the tools that support learning, creativity and well-being. Through the Library of Things, students can check out tech and tools that help them succeed in class and beyond. With your help, we can expand this collection to include high-demand items requested by students and faculty. Your gift will help us add a photo scanner, camera, and drawing tablet for art and digital media projects. A portable projector, external monitor, and presentation pointer for communication students and student organizations. And white noise machines to support focus and calm in study spaces. Join us Wednesday, June 4, for LCC’s Star Day of Giving, a celebration of community, opportunity and impact. These items will be available to all students, no matter their financial means.
