Sign Language: Reference Material
This guide will help Sign Language/Interpretation students to find course reserves and practice materials.
Check the list below to find your course reserve items. If the item is available, jot down the call number (eg. DVD SIGN-001) and bring it to the 2nd floor Help Zone to retrieve the item. If the item is checked out, you will see a due date/time listed.
"This ASL dictionary has over 6,000 ASL words (glosses) and growing". Browse the alphabetical list to find signed words, or search for the sign you are looking for. "If you don't find the word/sign you can send your request via email."
"Signing Savvy is an ideal resource to use while you learn sign language. It includes the ability to view large sign videos, build your own word lists and share them with others, create virtual flash cards and quizzes, print signs, build sign phrases, ...and more!"
