Beyond the Book

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is excited to announce the expansion of the One Book initiative with Beyond the Book: The Diversity Common Reading Program. This program will be an academic year-long initiative focused on embracing diversity, equity and inclusion by exploring four themes with four different books at the campus-wide level:

  • Accessibility & Advocacy
  • Diversity & Racial Equity: How To Be An Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi
  • Gender & Self-Identity: Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maia Kobabe
  • Global & Cultural Perspectives

Find resources for using these books in your classes on the Beyond the Book Research Guide.
