Celebrate Pride! Read with Pride!

LCC Library is pleased to be taking part in the American Library Association’s Rainbow Book month in June. Rainbow Book Month is a nationwide celebration of the authors and writings that reflect the lives and experiences of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, pansexual, genderqueer, queer, intersex, agender, Two Spirit, and asexual community. Rainbow Book Month provides an opportunity for book lovers and libraries to highlight the best in LGBTQIA+ literature.

A selection of LGBTQIA+ books will be on display on the 2^nd Floor of the Library for the month of June.

Explore the virtual display to view a selection of streaming videos and e-books.

Need Research Help? Ask a Librarian

If you are working on a final essay, project, paper, etc., the LCC Librarians are here to help you with your research and citation needs. We have both in-person and virtual help options to serve your schedule! You can visit us in-person at the second floor TLC Research Help Desk for drop in assistance during our open desk hours, and at West Campus on Wednesday afternoons from 4pm-6pm at the long table under the stairway. If you cannot come to the library, you can schedule a Web-ex or phone appointment with us, or use our 24/7 chat service, that is staffed by LCC librarians and partner librarians throughout Michigan, across the country, and some in England.
